Antonia Antoniou and Vanessa Smet, faculty members and collaborators in the Woodruff School, are conducting research that focuses on improving electronic packaging for better performance, while also tying that innovation to sustainable fabrication and recyclability. They’re looking at new, more sustainable ways to assemble and connect components of electronic systems such as active chips, resistors, and capacitors, both to each other and to their surroundings.
