Sleep disorders linked to chronic illness are difficult and costly to diagnose outside of a sleep lab, a challenge W. Hong Yeo, who holds the Peterson Professorship in Pediatric Research, is working to change. Yeo has developed a trio of soft, wireless sensors that bring gold-standard sleep diagnostics into the home, capturing more natural, multi-night data and potentially transforming how sleep disorders are detected and treated.
