Education

  • Ph.D., M.S., The Pennsylvania State University;
  • B.S., University of Zagreb

Teaching Interests

Professor Petrovic’s teaching encompasses nuclear engineering subjects at both undergraduate and graduate levels, including methods for modelling and simulation of nuclear systems, capstone design and nuclear fuel cycle.

Research Interests

Professor Petrovic’s overarching motivation is to develop sustainable nuclear power systems. Such systems necessitate developing advanced reactors with enhanced safety and utilization of resources utilization, that are also economically attractive and societally acceptable.  His research interests and technical expertise are in the areas of advanced reactors design, reactor physics, nuclear fuel cycle, and modelling and simulations of nuclear systems.
