The George W. The event will take place on Thursday, October 12, from 11:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. in the Atlantic Theater, located in the John Lewis Student Center, and is open to the entire Georgia Tech community. Lunch will be provided following the lecture and registration is required.
Richardson, the Founder & CEO of iFOLIO, will share about the process of building her company and key takeaways. From the idea, the product, team, and funding, to helping customers grow, to patents, audits, and service level agreements.
iFOLIO, an Atlanta-based tech company, helps teams collaborate. The digital platform has helped clients generate 300% growth through personalized digital marketing, and millions of dollars of increased sales annually. Some of the world’s leading brands including Notre Dame, Madison Square Garden, Clemson University, the Texas Rangers MLB, Core Laboratories (Clb), Cadence Bank (Cade), and Georgia Tech Foundation use iFOLIO integrated marketing platforms to deliver digital reports and personalized customer experiences.
In July 2023, iFOLIO increased its valuation to nine figures in a raise led by John Brock, retired chairman of Coca Cola Enterprises (and Jacket), Brent Woodruff, Richard Bergmark, retired EVP and CFO of Core Laboratories (and Jacket), and other investors. This came after a momentous year of growing sales, expanding into new markets, launching new products, and landing more patents in analytics.
Richardson has remained an active and dedicated Georgia Tech alumna, currently serving on the Georgia Tech Advisory Board to the President and the Georgia Tech Athletics A.T. Board of Directors.
The Women in Engineering Leadership Lecture Series was established by Devesh Ranjan, Eugene C. Gwaltney, Jr. School Chair, and the Women of Woodruff (WoW), to give members of the Georgia Tech community the opportunity to network with talented female scholars and innovators in the field of engineering. The Woodruff School will host talks featuring notable women engineers who are creating a better future for our community — locally, nationally, and globally.
