Shreyes Melkote to Lead Woodruff School as Interim Chair

Effective May 15, Shreyes Melkote will serve as interim chair of the George W. Woodruff School of Mechanical Engineering. Melkote, who is the Morris M. Bryan, Jr. Professor for Advanced Manufacturing Systems, will assume the temporary role after Devesh Ranjan departs Georgia Tech to become dean of the College of Engineering at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
